New employees are supported with an orientation program that covers the skills they need for their particular job and trains them on the firm’s case management systems and networking tools. We are also devoted to the ongoing development of our attorneys’ capabilities and provide periodic in-house training on software, hardware, and professional development needs.

Our Legal Apprentice Program
We are doing our part to help build the next generation of outstanding lawyers in the Midwest. Through our legal apprentice programs, we offer first-year and second-year law students a paid summer clerkship for hands-on experience. Third-year students can apply for a paid school-year internship with the goal of being placed with our firm after graduation. Our law clerks receive associate and partner-level mentoring, multidisciplinary training, marketing experience and professional development as they lay the foundation for a successful career in law.
Building the Next Generation of Leaders in the Law
As a regional law firm, we believe in embedding diversity and inclusion across everything we do. By investing in high-performing law students from historically underrepresented groups, we are able to drive innovation and create a more well-rounded legal community.
