Candace Curtis, a Senior Attorney, is based out of Kopka’s Louisville office and focuses on a broad range of litigation matters. With more than 18 years of experienced civil litigation, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, and employment-related claims, she has built a reputation as a thoughtful and pragmatic advocate who approaches each case with both strategic insight and a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for her clients. Her approach to practicing law has been shaped by her experience representing injured workers, particularly in cases involving life-altering injuries. These experiences have reinforced her understanding that while the legal system provides financial remedies, the real impact of her work lies in helping clients navigate profoundly difficult life circumstances with clarity and support.
In addition to her legal practice, Candace is actively engaged in her community. She serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Louisville Leopards Percussionists, Inc., and participates in her son’s school activities.
She enjoys staying active through pickleball, biking, hiking, and ping pong—her dining room table doubles as a competitive playing surface. She also enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her 9-year-old son, who is her greatest source of pride.
