Emily O. Sery

Emily Sery is an attorney based out of KPD’s Indianapolis office location specializing in insurance defense. She focuses her practice on transportation matters, products liability, premises liability, and professional liability matters.

Emily also has experience handling rapid response investigations to fatal collisions, working closely with law enforcement, and independent insurance adjusters to preserve evidence and protect clients’ interests. She is well-versed in the unique challenges faced by carriers and their insureds. With a deep understanding of risk management and strategic defense, Emily works closely with her clients to resolve claims efficiently and effectively.

Before joining KPD, Emily worked for an insurance carrier specializing in commercial trucking insurance where she assisted in the oversight of excess claims for commercial motor carriers. She also worked for a national law firm where she gained extensive experience in defending transportation cases.
