Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of legal experience to join our growing insurance defense practice in our Farmington Hills office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing cases from start to finish, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in every stage of the litigation process, including:
- Independently managing a busy civil litigation caseload
- Drafting motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
- Reviewing, organizing, and summarizing medical records
- Preparing medical chronologies and case summaries
- Coordinating Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and expert depositions
- Assisting attorneys with deposition preparation
- Contributing to case management at bi-weekly meetings with your team
- Trial preparation, including exhibit binders, trial notebooks, jury instructions, motions in limine, and other trial support – actually see your hard work through to and assist your team at trial!
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience managing litigation files with confidence and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Outlook and case management software (Filevine is a plus!)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
