Sam has dedicated his practice to insurance defense cases, including cases involving automobile negligence, premises liability, mold exposure, municipal/government immunity, construction defects, negligent hiring/supervision/training, vandalism-related property damage, dram shop liability, fire damage, insurance claims handling, and others. He is an experienced litigator in trial courts across Kentucky.

Sam previously practiced workers’ compensation law, and prosecuted felony offenses as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney.

He is actively involved in local politics in his home of Scott County and completed a three-year term on the school board of St. John School in Georgetown, Kentucky. Sam also enjoys volunteering his time and has served as a mock trial coach at Western Kentucky University, volunteer judge for the Kentucky state-wide high school mock trial competition, and coach of the South Warren Middle School mock trial team.

Sam is a native of central Kentucky, where he lives with his wife, Jacinta, and two daughters, Clara and Olive.
