ERIC A. LAUE
Eric A. Laue concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, including complex insurance fraud, coverage, transportation, automobile, and product liability. He brings over a decade of civil litigation experience to the firm, and has represented clients in complex civil cases in state, federal and appellate courts.
Prior to joining Kopka Pinkus Dolin, Eric practiced law in Texas for over nine years representing numerous Fortune 500 and insurance companies. He supervised and conducted large scale investigations into fraudulent billing practices of medical providers. Eric tried several cases resulting in favorable verdicts for his clients.
Eric began his career practicing law in Indiana at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and later, the Marion County Public Defender’s Agency.
Eric’s most recent trial was automobile accident that occurred when his client struck the rear of the plaintiffs’ vehicle. In closing, the plaintiff’s demand was over $250,000, and the jury returned a verdict for $7,000.
- In a previous trial, the plaintiff sought $50,000 for injuries sustained in a collision in which she claimed his client pulled out in front of her. The jury returned a verdict for $699.
