Dawn focuses her practice on municipal law and public entity matters. She spent nearly two decades serving as a county attorney in three different counties, where she prosecuted traffic and ordinance violations and tried a variety of other municipal cases, including jury trials.
Dawn also taught an educational course as a trainer on mental health laws for mental health crisis workers for three years for the UW Green Bay Behavioral Health Training Program prior to joining the firm.
Following graduation from law school she began her career in public service as an assistant corporation counsel in Dodge County, followed by an appointment as corporation counsel in Calumet County, and the corporation counsel for Green Lake County.
Dawn volunteers with the Wisconsin Bar Wills for Heroes Program and enjoys judging the High School Mock Trial regional tournament. She also volunteers as a judge for the Beaver Dam, WI Teen Court program.
