Kimberly I. Thayer joined the firm in 2012, having completed her Juris Doctor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011. She specializes in defense of insured and carriers in auto liability, No-Fault, aviation, homeowner and premises liability. Before coming to the firm, she worked in the field of asbestos law. Prior to attending law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Western Michigan University College of Aviation where she obtained her commercial multiengine pilot certification.
Kim has successfully defended numerous lawsuits against insurance carriers and thirty-party motorists and takes particular interest in investigating fraudulent claims of injuries stemming from auto accidents.
Outside the practice, Kim enjoys spending time on her boats, riding and traveling with her horses and an occasional flight through the clouds.
