Kopka Pinkus Dolin represents members of the aviation community on a wide range of legal issues involving aspects of aircraft hull and liability insurance, including coverage analysis and litigation of coverage issues through declaratory judgment actions, trials, and appeals. Our attorneys are experienced in litigation for airports, fixed based operators, and airport authority. We have handled cases involving pre-check protocols, FAA regulations, and are familiar with the Montreal Convention. One of our attorneys is an experienced commercial multiengine pilot with a degree in Aviation Flight Science.
We advise and assist clients on commercial and legal issues associated with the ownership and operation of aircraft, such as leases and other contracts, passengers and cargo claims, and employee relations. We have represented several airline entities on matters involving premises liability, workers’ compensation, contracts and more. Some of these companies include Prime Flight Aviation Services, Inc., Austrian Airlines, Continental Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Elliott Aviation, and AFCO AVPorts Management, LLC.
