What You’ll Do

  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and appointments
  • Prepare and organize case files and client records
  • File legal documents with federal, state and appellate courts
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
  • Conduct legal and factual research as needed
  • Assist with discovery, document production, and trial preparation
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with filing deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of legal assistant experience in insurance defense and litigation
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • E-filing experience in state, federal and appellate courts
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Filevine experience is a plus!
