Michael J. Bolde is a Partner in Kopka Law Group’s Crown Point, Indiana office, where he
concentrates his practice on health care law and medical malpractice litigation. He represents physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers in complex disputes involving personal injury and wrongful death claims, and has significant experience guiding clients through all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation through trial.
An experienced and strategic trial attorney, Michael has successfully handled a wide range of high-exposure matters and is known for his thorough preparation and practical approach to resolving disputes. His work includes defending claims involving alleged negligence, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death, as well as advising clients on risk management and litigation avoidance.
Michael has been recognized for his professional accomplishments, including being selected as an Indiana “Super Lawyers Rising Star” each year from 2016 through 2022. He was also honored by the Times of Northwest Indiana with its 20 Under 40 award, recognizing him as an emerging leader in the region. He remains active in the legal community as a member of the Indiana Lake County Bar Association.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, with highest distinction, from Purdue University Calumet in 2003, and his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2012.
