Sophia began her legal career at Kopka Law as a legal apprentice and later served as a paralegal, where she gained valuable experience in motion practice, legal research, and discovery. During her time with the firm, she also observed mediations, depositions, and trials, developing a strong foundation in civil litigation and advocacy.

While attending law school, Sophia remained deeply involved in advocacy, leadership and service. She volunteered with the Child Advocacy Clinic as both a Guardian Ad Litem and Court Appointed Special Advocate, supporting children and families involved in the legal system. She also served as President of the American Constitution Society and was selected as a 2025 Next Generation Leader in recognition of her leadership and community engagement. Sophia further strengthened her advocacy and oral argument skills through participation in the Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition and the 33rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition.

In 2025, she was recognized as an IU Indianapolis Elite 50 honoree for her achievements in leadership, scholarship, and community involvement. Outside of her legal work, Sophia volunteers with the Indianapolis Junior League, where she focuses on kinship and foster care initiatives in the community. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and attending musical and symphony performances.
