Lia M. Bowers is an experienced attorney who focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense, including trucking/transportation, automobile liability, premises liability, and workers’ compensation matters. Although she primarily represents individuals and companies across Indiana in state and federal courts, Lia is also licensed to practice law in Michigan and Ohio.
Lia is very detail-oriented, and from day one, approaches each case with the attention and thoroughness needed to obtain the best possible result for her client. She has assisted and represented clients through all stages of litigation, as well as pre-suit matters. She also has experience presenting and speaking on a variety of workers’ compensation topics at conferences and seminars hosted by insurance carriers.
While in law school, Lia held three judicial externships, including a federal externship with Hon. Robert L. Miller, Jr., U.S. District Court – Northern District of Indiana. Lia received her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University.
