Lia M. Bowers
Lia M. Bowers is an associate attorney in our Indianapolis office and for more than a decade he has been practicing law with focus on transportation defense litigation and workers’ compensation. She has also represented clients in matters involving general litigation matters, including premises liability, medical malpractice, personal injury, probate, family law, and Social Security Disability over the years.
She is originally from southeast Michigan and licensed to practice law in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, as well as all Indiana federal courts. Lia has successfully defended employers and workers’ compensation insurance carriers, and represented injured workers, before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board.
She also has experience presenting and speaking on a variety of workers’ compensation topics at conferences and seminars hosted by insurance carriers. Lia received her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University.
