Kendra Hook focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, representing clients in matters involving personal injury, premises liability, property damage, and third-party claims. She also has experience handling Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA) cases and draws on her prior role as a risk manager, which gives her unique insight into evaluating claims and developing strategies that align with client goals.
Before joining Kopka Law, Kendra built a strong foundation as a public defender, where she managed a rotating caseload of more than 125 cases. She also gained extensive courtroom experience by first-chairing five jury trials that resulted in not guilty verdicts, as well as second-chairing felony jury trials, in addition to bench trials, and numerous hearings. She also practiced family law at a firm in Chicago, broadening her litigation background.
Kendra is dedicated to giving back to her community; volunteering as a mock trial judge, participated in nonprofit fundraisers, organized food drives, and devoted time to helping others in need.
