Joshua R. Lowry is an experienced trial attorney focused on defending public entities and government agencies. He has taken well over 100 depositions, numerous oral arguments, trials, and preliminary injunction hearings.

Joshua also has experience defending state agencies such as the Department of Child Services and Indiana State Police while he served as the Deputy Attorney General. In 2020, he represented a police officer in a jury trial against an allegation of excessive force and received a defense verdict. In the same year, he also represented four correctional officers in a jury trial against allegations of excessive force and received a defense verdict. Joshua also argued in front of Seventh Circuit in the case of Legato Vapors v. David Cook in 2016.

Joshua and his wife, Alexis, fostered 12 children, four of which they adopted. In addition to being a foster parent, Joshua is also a youth sports coach and secretary for Westfield Democrat Club.
