Dustin J. Hess focuses his practice in insurance defense on behalf of insurance companies, self-insured corporations and businesses in a wide variety of civil litigation, including Michigan No-Fault, premises liability, and commercial litigation. Throughout his career, he has developed substantial appellate experience. While in law school, Dustin served an internship with a judge from the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Dustin is a graduate of the University of Detroit – Mercy School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management with an Emphasis in Accounting from Albion College in 2011 where he graduated as a four-year letter winner and starter for the Albion College football team.
Outside of the office, Dustin enjoys spending time volunteering as a coach at St. Edith Parish in Livonia on behalf of Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). For the past six years he has been running the football program, as well as taking on the role of assistant basketball coach for the last five years.
