Brian focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing clients in a variety of complex disputes. Before joining Kopka Law, he gained experience in the public sector, where he worked on matters involving the enforcement of administrative orders, environmental law, tax law, and election laws. This background gave Brian a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and government processes.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his law degree from the University of Mississippi. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk for Justice Kay Cobb at the Mississippi Supreme Court. Brian then worked as a deputy prosecutor in Marion County, Indianapolis, where he handled cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicides.

After gaining experience in the education sector, Brian returned to litigation in early 2025, joining the Administrative Regulatory Enforcement and Litigation section at the Office of the Attorney General. In October of 2025, he joined Kopka Law.

Outside of work he enjoys exercising, sports, movies, science, and spending time with family and friends.
