Amanda E. Melrood
Amanda Melrood is a senior attorney in Kopka Law’s Wisconsin office, whose practice focuses on a range of litigation matters, including insurance defense, civil rights, and licensing defense. She has built a reputation for effectively resolving client matters both inside and outside the courtroom, and she is committed to developing practical, goal-oriented, and cost-effective solutions for her clients.
Prior to practicing as a litigator, Amanda served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable David A. Hansher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she gained valuable insight into the judicial decision-making process. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Amanda was recently named a Rising Star in civil litigation by Super Lawyers.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys gardening, knitting, and working on her turn-of-the-century home with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
