Laura C. Hagenow

Laura C. Hagenow concentrates her practice in the defense of worker’s compensation claims throughout the state of Indiana. She has more than 30 years of experience in various civil litigation matters ranging from family law, employment law, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, and insurance defense.

Before focusing her practice on worker’s compensation, Laura also defended and represented clients in medical malpractice, ADA, employment litigation, general insurance defense, including premises liability, auto accidents, and defamation actions. Laura has represented healthcare corporations and directors throughout various stages of criminal neglect cases prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office, the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, Adult Protective Services, Postal Investigators and during a nationwide, coordinated massive execution of search warrants by over 50 federal agents.

Laura has given presentations on the handling of Indiana worker’s compensation at various seminars and for claims representatives, TPAs, and self-insured employers such as:

Laura is known for her excellent work product, thorough and detailed analysis, and is extremely skilled at efficient case handling and prompt resolution. Because of these talents, she develops an outstanding rapport with her clients.

Outside of the office, Laura enjoys traveling, attending concerts, coaching cheerleading, and staying active with her family. They water and snow ski, as well as engage in other forms of physical fitness. Laura is a Eucharistic minister at her church and volunteers for various charitable organizations.
