Benjamin M. Nichele
Ben is an associate in KPD’s Grand Rapids, Michigan location, representing clients on automobile accident liability, bodily injury, first- and third-party injuries, and premises liability matters. Due to his background in claims, he offers specialized knowledge of insurance policies and is a strong negotiator through mediations and arbitrations.
Before joining Kopka Pinkus Dolin, Ben was a casualty claims representative at a major insurance carrier in Michigan where he evaluated insurance coverage and liability, as well as negotiated settlements. He gained additional experience a law clerk at two well-known firms in Chicago, Illinois and as a judicial extern at the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Ben graduated from Butler University majoring in business with a concentration in marketing. He was a member of the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Team and on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. He continued his education at UIC John Marshall Law School where he earned his juris doctorate.
