Shane R. Nolan focuses his practice on the representation of insurance carriers and corporations in cases involving No-Fault claims and medical billing disputes. Prior to joining Kopka Pinkus Dolin, he served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Nick O. Holowka, Chief Judge for the 40th Circuit Court for the County of Lapeer, and practiced at a prominent Detroit-based law firm.
Shane is a graduate of Kalamazoo College, where he was a student-athlete on the Football Team and spent a semester studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. Following his undergraduate studies, he enlisted in City Year, an AmeriCorps program; here he served as a mentor, tutor, teacher’s assistant, and director of after-school programs in the Detroit Public School system. While attending Wayne State University Law School, Shane competed in Moot Court, participated in the Disability Law Clinic, and worked as a law clerk at the Detroit office for The Cincinnati Insurance Companies—Legal-Trial Division. Shane was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2013.
