ROBIN E. HARRINGTON
Farmington Hills, MI
Robin E. Harrington focuses her practice in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including Michigan No-Fault, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability, and employment law. She has experience representing employers, insurance companies, and self-insureds. Robin has handled cases involving FMLA, hostile work environment, whistleblower and retaliation, and discrimination.
After admittance to the Michigan Bar, Robin worked as a plaintiff’s attorney, handling Michigan No-Fault first and third party cases, premises negligence cases, and employment law cases. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants throughout her career gives Robin a unique perspective and ability to evaluate, negotiate, and litigate cases. She is focused on providing excellent quality legal representation while building long-lasting relationships with her clients.
Robin brings a distinctive set of skills to Kopka Pinkus Dolin, with a successful twenty year career in law enforcement prior to becoming an attorney. She gained experience as a corrections officer, central dispatcher, and fourteen years as a police officer. Throughout that time, Robin was involved in the investigation and prosecution of sexual abuse cases. Her skills as a former investigator of sexual abuse claims gives her an advantage in interviewing victims of abuse in civil matters as well as an ability to critique the investigation performed that resulted in the sexual abuse claim.
Robin is a graduate of Concordia College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. As a student, she participated in Moot Court Competition, and was involved in Service to Soldiers and the Immigrant Rights and Civil Advocacy Clinic.
