ORFEJ P. NAJDESKI
Orfej Najdeski has broad and significant experience in civil litigation. Orfej has litigated cases involving negligence, constitutional claims, defamation, breach of contract, contract interpretation, insurance policy coverage, indemnity, wrongful death, trucking, premises liability, professional liability, construction liability, and product liability. Orfej has represented clients in state and federal courts, and at the appellate level.
Orfej Najdeski has expanded the breadth of his experience representing property owners, contractors, land surveyors, construction companies, and construction equipment leasing companies in lawsuits involving various construction-related claims including, but not limited to, construction defects, contractual indemnity, breach of contract claims, construction accidents, negligence and wrongful death. For the past three years, Orfej has represented a multi-state company that leases equipment for construction projects, such as aerial lifts. In March of 2014, Orfej completed training for the safe use and operation of Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms and Self-Propelled Elevating Work Platforms, and became certified in Aerial Work Platform Safety.
TRIAL AND CASE HIGHLIGHTS
Recent jury trial success in Hendricks County, Indiana. Plaintiffs filed a Complaint alleging Orfej’s client had negligently maintained and operated an entry way into its premises. Plaintiff alleged she sustained bodily injuries as a consequence of being struck by a motor vehicle while she was standing within the entry way taking parking tickets. At trial, Plaintiffs asked the jury to return a verdict near $750,000 plus an additional amount for pain/suffering. Following deliberation, the jury returned a verdict in the amount of only $60,000.
