Lina Goro focuses her practice on a variety of insurance defense matters, including premises liability, PIP, and Michigan No-Fault claims for multiple auto accident carriers. She has experience handling a wide range of civil litigation matters, having had the opportunity to work as an Insurance Defense Attorney since graduating law school.
Lina graduated from University of Detroit Mercy where she obtained a scholarship due to high academic undergrad achievement and LSAT score. Throughout law school, Lina clerked for the Honorable Judge Shalina Kumar, and brings an invaluable perspective to our firm, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants. She developed extensive litigation skills working for a prominent plaintiff’s firm, and expanded her knowledge as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Wayne County, Detroit.
Lina has an impressive multicultural background; in addition to English, she is fluent in Dutch, Arabic, Neo-Aramaic (Chaldean), and German conservatively. She volunteers as a translator of court/legal documents, where she uses her language ability to assist immigrants.
Lina has always possessed a passion for law and has sought out ways to be submersed in a versatile and fast-paced environment. Lina’s litigation experience and “sleeves up, give all” attitude has equipped her with the skills to successfully meet the demands of her client’s needs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
