James G. Magrames received his Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1996.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in 1992. Prior to joining Kopka, Pinkus, Dolin & Eads, Mr. Magrames was a Deputy Prosecutor with the Lake County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for two years. 

Mr. Magrames is a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association. He is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.   Mr. Magrames focuses his insurance defense practice on auto liability, products liability, construction cases and trucking litigation.  He regularly attends state and national seminars on transportation litigation.
